SKE International is looking for a site Project Manager or Superintendent to be part of our contract management team. The position sought is a Project Manager/Superintendent for Design/Build and Design/Bid/Build projects in the Des Moines and Sioux City areas. Projects may be LEED certified. Position duties include field management of tradesmen and subcontractors, maintaining quality control, ensuring a safe operating project site and coordinating LEED requirements. Candidates will have cradle to grave responsibility of single or multiple projects. Project size ranges from $100K to $5M. Specific duties include: conducting preconstruction site visits, project scope development, budgeting, obtaining subcontract proposals, issuing project scheduling, project management, field management, material procurement, project status updates to clients, processing material submittals, maintaining project documentation and project estimating. Candidate should be computer proficient. Software used in performed job duties includes Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, Project, Internet Explorer, Acrobat Reader as well as ad hoc programs required by specific clients. Candidate will require excellent written and verbal communications skills. Requirements: Candidate should have the ability to attend and conduct construction site visits, manage multiple simultaneous projects, develop and execute project schedules. A minimum of 5 years field experience is required. LEED AP Certification is a plus. Experience in contracts with the Federal Government is a plus.
